ReplyDeleteDENISE--I really like beef with a bit of a chew, and skirt steak cooked rare to medium rare is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteKATH--The guest room is ready and waiting for you.
It all looks wonderful - especially that salad! I'll definitely check out the recipe. And love the cheese crispettes too - how do you make them?
ReplyDeleteSusan: Thanks for stopping by. The crispettes are from Food 52--similar to cheese straws, but with the surprise ingredient of panko bread crumbs. Enjoy.

We spent most of the weekend inside cooking, baking, eating, warming up. It helped me from feeling stuck in the house, because it certainly was frigid on the streets of NYC. But then this morning, kind of balmy. Took a long walk since you never know these days with the weather.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds cozy. It is always wise to take advantage of good winter weather. You never know what's coming.
DeleteEvery single dish looks so delicious. Both bran muffin and turkey chilli are my favourites.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie. In January I always feel we need to eat more healthy foods after the excesses of the holidays.
